October 21st: McKenna performed in Time to Kill, the headlining comedy show at the 2023 New York Sketch Fest located at the People’s Improv Theatre!

October 14th: Stitched, a short film featuring McKenna and written by The Late Show’s Pratima Mani, was featured in the Oscar qualifying Tasveer Film Festival in Seattle, Washington. This festival highlights and focuses on issues facing South Asian diaspora.

Sept 14th-21st: Plot Device, a pilot written and produced by Perfectly Adequate Films was featured in the Soho International Film Festival. The pilot was nominated for Best Long Form Pilot! McKenna played the role of Charlotte, a tenacious stand up comedian who is tired of her marriage and ready to pursue her dreams.

August 12th: Stitched, a short film written by two time Emmy nominated Pratima Mani, was featured in the Oscar qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival at the Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. In the film, McKenna plays the role of Kelly Kelley, a seemingly “perfect” social media influencer.

August 6th: McKenna filmed a sketch comedy piece written by Peabody winner, Pratima Mani, who is part of the 2023 Climate Comedy Cohort. The sketch will be featured on social media by Adam McKay’s media company, Yellow Dot.

November 3rd: McKenna filmed a commercial for Vimeo! She played the subtly weird woman… Fun footage and pics to come.

October 28th: McKenna performed with the Story Pirates for three different schools in an online Story Creation Zone!

August 24th: McKenna performed with the Story Pirates in a live Story Creation Zone!

August 13th and 20th: McKenna recorded a role in Pratima Mani’s new Spotify pilot, “Blood Lassi.” She plays the Prosecution for a trial that is sentencing a group of vampires for slaughtering humans. Don’t worry, it’s a comedy.

July 17th-19th: McKenna filmed a pilot entitled “Plot Device,” in which she plays the lead character’s wife who is pursuing her dream as a stand up comedian.

July 16th: McKenna performed with the Story Pirates in an online Story Creation Zone!

June 12th and 16th: McKenna filmed a short entitled “Sparks Lampini,” in which she played the best friend who is a bad influence.

April 3rd: McKenna filmed a promo for a pilot she will be shooting this summer! The series is called Plot Device and was written by the hilarious Perfectly Adequate Films team.

December 4th: McKenna performed with the Story Pirates in an improvised Story Creation Zone online!

August 31st: McKenna was excited to improvise with the Story Pirates on the Story Creation Zone live feed!

July 17th: McKenna was an improviser in a digital Story Creation Zone for the Story Pirates! She was excited to do her first Zoom improv show! What a time to be alive.

July 16th: McKenna was in the first digital version of UCB’s Maude Night with her house team, Peach!

July 2nd: McKenna was featured on CNL’s The Native Society! You can see her interview here.

June 22nd: McKenna was in the San Antonio Public Theatre’s digital reading of Brilliant Works of Art by Donna Hoke. It was McKenna’s third time reprising the lead role, but her first time exploring the play through Zoom. She had a great experience working with a cast that was dispersed across the country.

May 30th: McKenna was an actor in the digital version of UCB’s SketchCram! The writers made their pitches at 10AM, wrote the sketches and then sent the final edits to the actors at 3PM for a 9PM show! So that means actors had about 4.5 hours to film and edit the sketches… INSANITY BUT SO FUN! You can watch the show here! You’ll see a familiar face around the 30 minute mark :)

May 26th: McKenna was a writer and actor in the HERlarious @HOMEGirls Show on YouTube Live! You can watch the show using this link!

May 18th: McKenna wrote and filmed a Zoom game show for Room 28 Comedy! You can watch the madness here!

March 6th and 7th: McKenna performed with Room 28 at TOsketchfest in Toronto!

March 2nd: McKenna performed with her house sketch team, Peach, in Maude Night at UCB Hell’s Kitchen! Her team was directed by Matt Gehring.

February 8th: McKenna performed brand new Valentine’s Day sketches with Room 28 Comedy! The ROOM-antic shows took place at the Triad Theatre and ended in an actual proposal at the end of the second show! What a night!

February 7th: McKenna played a “Vanna White” character in the BEST OF SCRAPPED at the PIT Striker!

February 3rd: McKenna made her second Maude Night appearance with her house team, Peach, at the Upright Citizens Brigade! The show was directed by Nikki Palumbo.

January 31st: McKenna performed in UCB’s Mike Poole’s Pool Party. She made quite a…wait for it…SPLASH!

January 26th: McKenna performed in the Secret Theatre’s Act One: One Act Festival at 7PM at the Secret Theatre (44-02 23rd Street, Long Island City). She had the pleasure of acting alongside Ariel Griffin, Will Martinez, and Sarah Ann Houghton in the play, Dark Roast, written by UCB’s The Foundation writer, Laura Canty-Samuel. The play was directed by Marina Tempelsman and will also be performed on the following added dates: February 2nd at 7PM, February 13th at 7PM and February 21st at 7PM.

January 26th: McKenna filmed two new sketches written by Adrian Davidson, filmed by Isiah Seward and directed by Josue Ledesma. Special appearances by Chris Guardino and Succession’s Preston Smith.

January 25th: McKenna had such a great time performing in Kids These Days & Friends - A Character Showcase at the PIT Loft!

January 6th: McKenna performed in Maude Night at the Upright Citizens Brigade with her new house sketch team, Peach! The show was directed by Matt Gehring and was completely sold out!

December 20th: McKenna did her finest Ellie Kemper impression in Bing Crosby’s Merrie Olde Christmas 2019 at UCB at Subculture! The show was hosted by Peter Johnston and featured many incredible New York comedians.

December 16th: McKenna performed in a SPANK at UCBT Hell’s Kitchen! A SPANK is a thirty minute sketch comedy show that is open to the public to watch, and then decided by the staff if it will be given a run at the theatre. The show that McKenna was a part of is called CHECK PLEASE! and was written by John Zachary Townsend and directed by Cara Devins.

November 27th: McKenna was an actor in Scrapped, a cold read sketch comedy show that showcases three NYC writers’ best worst sketches. The show took place at the PIT Striker and featured writers: Dominique Euqinimod, Aaron Porchia and Michael Tannenbaum.

November 23rd: McKenna filmed an original sketch written by Pratima Mani! She had the privilege of acting with Prat, Ann Marie Yoo, Leanne Velednitsky and Alex Otis.

November 22nd: McKenna had the pleasure of shooting a pretape for SNL in which she played a bar patron and office worker. The sketch, Wrangler Peekaboos, was cut for time but featured Will Ferrell, Alex Moffat, Kyle Mooney, and Bowen Yang strutting in jeans that enhanced their butt cleavage. It was quite an experience! Ha!

November 19th: McKenna is so excited to let you know that she has been cast in the upcoming season of UCBT’s Maude Night! Her house sketch team, Peach, will be performing the first Monday of every month in 2020!

November 18th: McKenna performed in The Story Pirates’ Cotillion at the Magnet Theater! She is ecstatic to be a part of this wonderful community of artists!

November 10th: McKenna performed an original monologue entitled “Ellie Kemper at the DMV” in her UCB Character 101 Class Show!

November 4th-6th: McKenna was in Washington D.C. filming a PSA for the FDA! Say that five times fast…

October 27th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy in the People’s Improv Theatre’s 2019 SketchFest! Her team headlined at the PIT Loft.

October 24th: McKenna performed in Bragging Rights in the People Improv Theatre’s 2019 SketchFest! The show headlined at the PIT Striker Theatre.

October 19th: McKenna performed in SketchCram at UCB Hell’s Kitchen! This is a sketch comedy show that is built in one day! The writers meet at 9AM, the actors join in the fun at 6PM, and the show is performed off book and with no tech rehearsal at midnight! It’s a whirlwind of a day but so much fun!

October 13th: McKenna was an actor in Hunter Nelson’s 301 Class Graduation Show at UCB Hell’s Kitchen! The show featured nine original sketches with a cast of six NYC comedic actors.

October 5th and 6th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy at the People en Espanol Festival on behalf of SOMOS at the Armory!

September 25th: McKenna began shooting a new film entitled Steve, written by Maryanne Melloan Woods, directed by Andrea Odezynska, and produced by Walter Rodriguez! She is excited to tackle her first lead role in a feature!

September 21st: McKenna performed with The HERlarious Show ladies at Pop Show hosted by Ziwe at Union Hall in Brooklyn! She acted in the sketch, Hot Donuts, written by Laura Michelle. You can see more of Laura’s work at the Upright Citizens Brigade where she writes and performs with her team, The Foundation.

September 8th: McKenna is so excited to announce that she now an official performer for the Story Pirates! This amazing organization is an arts education and media company based in New York and Los Angeles. We take stories written by kids and bring those stories to life to celebrate the words and ideas of children. For more information about how the Story Pirates work, click here!

August 21st and 22nd: McKenna shot a Bob’s Furniture commercial in Connecticut! She’ll share with you when she gets the footage!

August 2nd: McKenna was on set playing a receptionist in the short film, Dormant.

July 31st: McKenna was excited to join the cast of Scrapped for another night of embarrassingly great writing! She cold read scripts written by Laura Michelle, Natasha Vayblat and Brandon Bassham at the PIT Underground. Big thanks to the hilarious hosts, Sarah Ann Houghton and Dylan Eshbaugh, for bringing her onboard.

July 25th: The all women cast of Comedy Derailed was defeated in Round Two of the Bragging Rights July Madness Sketch Competition. As always, McKenna had a great time performing at the PIT Underground!

July 16th: Room 28 Comedy made their debut on NBC’s new comedy competition show, Bring The Funny ! Click here to watch their performance!

July 12th: McKenna performed with the all women cast of Comedy Derailed in Round One of the Bragging Rights July Madness Sketch Competition and is happy to say that the team advanced to Round Two!

July 8th: McKenna filmed a commercial for City Empire MGM Casinos! It is currently running on TV in New York and surrounding states, as well as live at NY Yankees and Mets baseball games. You can also view it by clicking here!

July 6th: McKenna’s UCB 301 Sketch Writing Class had their graduation show at UCB Hell’s Kitchen! Two sketches that McKenna wrote were featured and she even performed in a few!

June 29th: Affairs Interrupted, a short created by Danny Garcia, Sarah Ann Houghton, David Morton and McKenna, was featured in the one minute film festival, Quickie Fest VII.

June 27th: The all women cast and team of Comedy Derailed had two comedy variety shows at the Triad Theatre!

June 15th: McKenna filmed a new short with Behind the Camera NYC which will be featured in Quickie Festival VII.

May 30-31: McKenna traveled to Connecticut to film a commercial for LinkedIn! The spot features her conducting job interviews with children. You can view the commercial here!

May 29th: McKenna booked a print job for Brilli Lightbulbs! She filmed in Brooklyn with one of her favorite production companies, Piro. If you want to learn more about their product, click here!

May 16th: McKenna had a photo shoot for the poster of the upcoming short film, Last Call.

March 24th: The Fancy Drunk, a sketch written and created by Perfectly Adequate Films and featuring McKenna, premiered at the New York City Short Comedy Film Festival.

March 6th: McKenna played a naive, spirited, Southern woman named Kekkie in Joanne Hoersch’s reading of Bunnies, a play about the lives of the 1970s Playboy bunnies. The reading took place at Jersey City Theatre Center and was part of the NJ Women Playwright’s series produced by the Writer’s Theatre of New Jersey.

March 1st: McKenna performed in the March edition of the hit PIT sketch comedy show, Bragging Rights, at the Striker Theater!

February 27th: McKenna performed in SCRAPPED, a new sketch comedy show at the PIT Underground where the actors cold read scripts that never made it past the writing room by featured comedy writers.

February 22nd: McKenna shot a new comedic short, Last Call, with Behind the Camera NYC. Danny Garcia wrote and directed the piece and McKenna had the pleasure of acting opposite of her fellow Room 28er, Ariana Rodriguez.

February 16th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy at the ASPIRA of New York’s 26th Annual City Youth Conference sponsored by Macy’s. Hostos Community College hosted the event for high school students from all five boroughs.

February 3rd: McKenna filmed Episode 3 of the Open House Web-Series with Indelible Films!

January 6th: McKenna played an overachieving newspaper reporter named Nora in Eric Peterson’s new play, Water, Water Everywhere. The play was a part of the Soundings Reading Series through the Writers Theatre of New Jersey.

December 15th: McKenna shot a short film written by PeterPaul Shaker called Game Ready. She played, Kelly, a nurse who is the down to earth, cynical sister of the main character, Tyler, who is trying to become a professional gamer.

December 14th: McKenna shot a promo for Piro, a branded entertainment, content and storytelling creative and production studio with director, Tim Piper.

December 3rd: McKenna was in a reading of Jane Elias’s full length play, Girl Is Mine, at the Teatro Circulo. The reading was part of the First Mondays Reading Series through Naked Angels.

September 7th: McKenna performed in the hilarious sketch comedy show, Bragging Rights, at the PIT Striker!

August 18th: McKenna had a blast performing in UCB's Sketch Cram at the new Hell's Kitchen theatre. For this show, the writers get together at 10AM and create eight sketches. The actors arrive at 6:30PM, learn and rehearse their scenes, and then perform the show at midnight!

August 17th: McKenna filmed a commercial for a tech company! She will post a link as soon as she’s allowed.

August 10th: McKenna performed to a sold out crowd in Bragging Rights at the PIT Striker! Her team was voted the winner by guest judges Luke Null (SNL Season 43 cast member) and Tim Realbuto (writer and actor feature film YES).

July 28th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy at the Washington Heights Block Party!

July 22nd: McKenna filmed a new webseries with Indelible Films! The series takes place in a real estate office in which McKenna will be playing the receptionist.

July 17th: McKenna booked and filmed a commercial for the amazing vegan restaurant, by Chloe. This company has stores in NYC, LA, Boston and London. She was in two spots entitled Plant Curious Film.

July 8th: McKenna filmed a sketch with EOP Comedy!

July 7th: McKenna booked filmed a Microsoft commercial! She played the Waitress in the spot entitled "Humor Bistro."

July 6th: McKenna performed in the SOLD OUT variety show, Comedy Derailed, at the Soho Playhouse! She was so excited to be a part of this all female cast and crew! Yes!

June 9th: McKenna hosted Bragging Rights at the PIT Striker! In this show, two hilarious teams go up against each other in a sketch comedy battle!

May 18th: McKenna filmed with Saturday Night Live! The pretape was a new sketch called Friendship Song featuring Nicki Minaj, Tina Fey, Kate McKinnon, and many other SNL cast members!

May 13th: McKenna attended the New York Indie Film Festival awards ceremony to celebrate the  three wins for Latino Vortex! The sketch won Best Ensemble, Best Cinematography, and Best Production Design. 

May 11th:  McKenna shot a pretape with SNL! The sketch is titled The Day You Were Born and it stars Amy Schumer, Mikey Day, Alex Moffett, and Aidy Bryant. McKenna plays a nurse in the delivery room scenes.

April 18th: McKenna filmed a promo for the new messaging and gaming app, BLUR.

She was able to work in a scene featuring the brilliantly funny Kenan Thompson and Nasim Pedrad and directed by the incredible Oz Rodriguez. April 3rd: McKenna was in a reading of Nicole Pandolfo's new play, The Belle of Belmar. The reading was hosted by the Drew University Dramaturgy Department.

March 27th: McKenna performed in a reading of Erin Mallon's play, The Other White Meat, at Mile Square Theatre in Hoboken. Big thanks to the Writers Theatre of New Jersey for holding so many wonderful reading series so that new plays can get seen! 

March 19th: McKenna was in a reading of John Lewis's new screenplay, Killing Roger. The movie follows the battle of the media during the time of the Kennedy assassination. 

March 18th: McKenna shot a new sketch with Faux Reel Studios! The project is about a group of people trying to escape the BURBS and make it to Manhattan! More info to come...

February 28th: McKenna performed in Erin Mallon's reading of Stunning Displays of Prowess at Jersey City Theatre Center. She was excited to work with director, Mark Cirnigliaro.

February 9th: McKenna joined the cast of Bragging Rights at the PIT's Striker Theatre for another fun night of completely original sketch comedy!

February 8th: McKenna played the role of Chris, a high strung and slightly sadistic daughter, in the delightful comedy, The Happy Family, by Jan Jalenak and directed by Alastair Boag. The readings took place the Robert Moss Theater.

February 2nd: McKenna is excited to announce that she has been offered the role of Milly, a small town reporter, in Summer Nights, a new feature film by Peter Iengo! The movie is set to shoot this coming summer in the New York area.

January 22nd: McKenna shot a commercial spec with writer and actor, Deborah Napier.

January 16th: McKenna was in a reading of The Other White Meat by Erin Mallon at the Dreyfuss Theatre in Madison, NJ.

January 9th: McKenna was a part of the Writer's Theatre of New Jersey's 2018 SOUNDINGS Reading Series for the second time this season! This time she read in Donna Hoke's new play, Teach.

January 9th: Crazy Famous, the feature film that McKenna shot in 2015 with actors Catherine Curtain and Kathy Searle, is now available On Demand for most cable/satellite platforms and on Amazon!

November 8th: McKenna made her debut at the Jersey City Theatre Center by playing the irresistible, loving, tenacious, and mercurial creature of the night, Lola Dove, in a reading of Elisabeth Karlin’s new play, HOTBED, inspired by 1950s Hollywood.

October 20th: Bragging Rights, a comedic dueling sketch comedy show, was given a featured spot at the PIT Sketchfest where McKenna and her team performed at the Striker Theatre!

October 10th: McKenna booked and filmed a commercial for the Oxygen Network at Rockefeller Center entitled Crimes Against Humanity.

October 6th: McKenna celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with Room 28 Comedy! The sketch show consisted of new and original content with comedy in ingles for everyjuan. ;-) Featured at the Triad Theatre on the Upper West Side, there were two shows in one night!

October 3rd: Room 28 Comedy was on the road! McKenna traveled to Connecticut to perform for Norwalk Community College! Field trip!!!

September 29th: McKenna was featured in the hit PIT show, Bragging Rights! The show consisted of two sketch comedy teams going head to head in a comedic battle and was performed at the PIT LOFT!

September 14th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy at the Portada Conference at YOTEL!

July 28th: McKenna shot a print ad for Smilo in which she was a young woman attending a friend's baby shower.

July 15th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy in the AKS LEE Show at the Reckless Theatre. The show consisted of interviews, improv, and robots!

June 14th: Latino Vortex was released on the Mas Mejor YouTube channel. This project was created by Room 28 Comedy's head writer, Jaime Fernandez, and was directed by SNL's Oz Rodriguez. June 9th and 10th: Room 28 Comedy performed their big summer show at The Triad Theatre!

May 15th-17th: McKenna was a physical actor for a Chinese animated film called Mountains and Sea. She worked with an amazing cast and crew, and was directed by Andrew Britt. When production is finished, the audience will be able to view the movie using VR goggles and enjoy an incredible 360 degree view. The future is here!

April 17th: McKenna read the role of Police Officer and stage directions in a staged reading of Serious Moonlight by Adrienne Shelly, co-adapted by Andy Ostroy and Liz Tucillo, and directed by Liz Carlson. She had the pleasure of reading with an all star Broadway cast including Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jeremy Sisto, Teddi Millan and Theo Stockman.

December 11th: McKenna appeared on A&E's Critics Choice Awards during a segment in which Academy Award winning, Viola Davis, won the #seeher award. This campaign aims to create a more accurate portrayal of women in the media.

December 8th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy at the Coquito-N-Comedy event with HOLA Hispanic Employees of Time Inc.

November 5th: McKenna performed with Room 28 Comedy at the NY Comedy Festival in the Bronx!

September 21st: McKenna was ecstatic to make her debut with the amazingly talented sketch comedy troupe, Room 28. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, she performed for a SOLD OUT audience at El Museo del Barrio; a theatre which seats a whopping number of 550 people!

August 19th: McKenna booked the role, Young Wife, in the New York based documentary, Free Advice. The project was directed by Jarrett Bellucci and was produced by Gianluca Rizza and Domenic Casillo.

August 3rd: McKenna booked a commercial for North American Power! She plays the wife in a series of spots that are set to run in the Northeast starting in October.

June 28th: McKenna read an excerpt of a new, developing play called 2Y20M by Catherine Castellani at Dixon Place.

June 26th: McKenna participated in The Hat Plays at Urban Stages where she played the CHORUS, giving her the chance to explore five different characters in Stephanie Keys' new play, Circus of Fiercely Ordinary Women.

May 25th: McKenna shot a promo for the Oxygen network for a new show coming out called ExBesties.

May 11th: McKenna had the pleasure of reading Brilliant Works of Art by Donna Hoke at the Barrow Group.

May 2nd: McKenna booked and filmed the season five launch promo of Man Fire Food. She played the role of "Waitress" and was in a scene with the sweet and talented host, Roger Mooking.

March 21st: McKenna spent all evening in a recording studio with Andrew Casanova working on an original parody of "If You're Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands". More info to come...

March 19th: McKenna was on set in Chelsea modeling for a new online women's magazine, Respoken.

December 14th: McKenna was in a reading of John Harrington Bland's screenplay, The Seventh Sister, with Naked Angels' Mondays Reading Series. She played Laurie, the youngest sister who is the glue of a crazy Southern family.

December 4th: McKenna is in a reading of Joley, written by Caitlin Saylor Stephens at The Skeleton Rep. She is playing Bluebanks, a once murdered Southern girl.

November 12th: McKenna played Wendy in a reading of Elaina's Paradiso at St. Malachy's Church. The play was written by Ray Linde and McKenna's character was the young and wild wife of the homosexual restaurant owner.

November 7th-8th: McKenna played Susie, an energetic mistress, in Sailorboy by Neville Elder at the Jewel Box Theatre. This was a one act competition, and McKenna's play won first place!

October 24th: She shot an episode in a new webseries called Pounds New York, which is about four NYC ladies who decide to become the hottest drug dealers on the block.

October 10th: McKenna shot the feature film, Crazy Famous, directed by Paul Jarrett, written by Bob Farkas, and starring actors such as Victor Cruz, Ajay Naidu, and Catherine Curtin.

October 2nd: McKenna performed in the long form improv show, "In a World", at the UCBeast with her Advanced Study Harold class taught by Kate Riley.

September 26th: McKenna filmed an episode in the new original webseries, Counseling, written by Matt Algozzini. In the episode named "Giving Back", she is playing Rayna, a peppy summer camp counselor.

September 17th-20th: Played Ashley in Head at the Manhattan Rep Theatre alongside actor and playwright, Tessa Borbridge, and director, Dean Imperial.

September 11th: McKenna booked the role of Assistant Casting Director in the feature film, Crazy Famous, which films in October.

August 21st-23rd: Played Gwyneth Paltrow in Goop Girls with 3V Theatre Company at The Bridge Theatre.

July 1st: Booked and filmed a commercial for Comcast in Philadelphia.

June 25th: Participated in a staged reading at Planet Connections Theatre Festival for Who Mourns Bob the Goon, an original play written by Joshua Young.

May 7th: Played Lani, the grief-stricken widow, in the original play, The Ghost Composer, by Adam Griffin at The Producer's Club.

April 21st: McKenna had the pleasure of joining the South of Grand cast for a second reading at the Cherry Lane Theatre.

April 19th: Played Abby, an intelligent and adventurous college student, in Brilliant Works of Art by Donna Hoke with the Core Artists Ensemble.

April 5th: Filmed User, a short film in which McKenna played Amy, a carefree drug addict.

March 23rd: Started the run of the Lady Sketch Comedy Show with the Magnet Theater where McKenna had the opportunity to play multiple characters.

March 12th: Filmed a sketch comedy scene with Sledge Adams Productions.

February 28th: Booked and filmed Visit 57, a short film in which McKenna played Daphne, a peppy nurse.

January 31st: Played Jessica in a reading of South of Grand written by Miles Orduna at the Cherry Lane Theatre.

January 17th: Participated in a 24 hour play festival with Rising Sun theatre group at TheatreLab.

January 13th: Booked and filmed a in house training video for Francesca, a boutique chain with stores all around the country.
